New artworks 2021-2024
''The Hub (shelter)'', 2024
Sculptural installation made with PVC pipes, felt painter’s tarp, hubcaps and other car parts found on the streets of Montreal, recycled curtain, glue, plastic, metal wire; 2024.
What started out as a play on words evolved into an artwork that broaches the notion of shelter, self-sufficiency/resiliency, and the urgent state of homeless peoples in our city and beyond. May this structure become a catalyst for important discussions around how we got to where we are and finding solutions to a problem that seems to be getting worse with every passing year.

The Tower of Babel was never finished, but is still being built after all these years. It’s the tower that we all live in. A tower that consumes us as we continue to build it. The capitalistic world that we live in is continually pushing us further away from the things that bring us together. As we resist its push (through protest, the arts, therapy, self-reflection, and connection to the natural world), we get a glimpse of what it is to live without it. A moment of freedom from all the noise, the illusions and projections, and the inauthentic.
